Some have aluminum benches, some have wood benches.

Some are too narrow for butts :) and some are too wide.

Mostly cold as they don't turn the heaters overhead on to save $$

Sounds like you have seating experience :)

@disk4mat @daniel I used to play in a beer league and later watched my son play for his high school. I never felt cold on the ice, but the bleacher seating was the pits.

Just sitting makes it cold . Players build up heat.

Nice you played and got to see your son play. Hockey is a life long sport if you like it.
