I agree with your mother. I was turning 40 concerned about all of that down 40 is over the hill crap when I got a job managing a retirement community. I had tenants from 50 to 102 and these people were running around like teenagers, active, partying, traveling, hooking up and getting it on.
i remember thinking Oh hell! I've got another 60 years to go before I'm even close to over the hill
