police have alerted residents to reports of a tornado in the City of Ottawa.
David Sills, executive director of the Northern Tornadoes Project, confirmed that a tornado did touch down in Ottawa Thursday afternoon.
This comes just minutes after a tornado watch was upgraded to a tornado warning Thursday afternoon.
