I think they over prescribe this shit. Before my procedure (umbilical hernia repair) the hospital called in a prescription for tramadol: Since July 2014, the FDA has classified tramadol as a class IV controlled substance due to its potential for misuse and addiction.
I didn't bother to pick it up. I actually feel fine 8 hours after the procedure.

Glad you didn't need it. Less meds are usually always the answer imo. Feel better!
@dauphin87 Traumadol screwed me up something awful in June after my surgery. It's now on my do not use list. You dodged a bullet.
