Firefighters holding a public meeting to explain what they're doing to fight the Coffee Pot Fire.

@singlemaltgirl I've been asking and no one seems to know.πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ

@singlemaltgirl Most often the name is determined by the initial attack incident commander or the fire dispatcher. The name is generally based on the geographic location of the fire or a nearby geographic feature, i.e. mountain, canyon, valley, river, etc.

@dauphin87 yeah, we name our fires here by the region/area it's happening in. i just thought coffee pot might mean something like someone left a coffee pot burning which sparked the fire in the first place. πŸ€”

@dauphin87 what a folksy name for the canyon.

also, i hope they're able to get it under control. 🀞🏾

@dauphin87 Welp, we're gonna put on one of those oven mitts, then we're gonna grab the carafe, and just pour the coffee over the fire. That should just about take care of it. Oh! We're gonna unplug the coffee maker first, of course.
