The new mattress arrived a day early. I can't wait to test it out tonight!! Either I'll love it or it'll try to kill me. Extra firm mattresses aren't supposed to be good for someone my size, but my back pain says it's time for a change.

@dauphin87 I'm doing well with naps on the extra firm couch cushion we got for our outdoor furniture so I'm hopeful. The mattress we replaced was 9 years old, so it was time.
