My clock broke. And I am literally crying about it.
It's a cheap plastic thing that, I believe, came from K-Mart back in the day. When I headed to college my dad asked, "Do you have a clock?" I said no, and he unplugged the thing. "Take this," he said.
That was in 1980.
I've had this dumb clock for 42 years. Curse you Daylight Savings! It died during the reset.
My husband's telling me that that's a pretty amazing life for a cheap piece of plastic but I'm still crying. 😥
More than 5-years has passed since losing one of my best and dearest friends. It's supposed to get easier, but it's not. I always cry when I think of him. While he may be at rest, I still don't forgive the universe for taking him at just 54-years old. The only solace is that he is in my heart every day. ❤️ Henry.
And so it goes.

@Polarsprite You're right - it really is amusing, and frightening to think it's so recent. Being under the care of Dr. Kevorkian would've been a better position to be in. 😄
Don't listen to the government.
DST is a scam. Don't turn your clocks back, don't fall back, fall forwards.
Stay safe everyone.
@KarlMorant Oh man, you lit me up with that. 😂
@Flanger 😄 !
@Polarsprite No doubt she's kind. I also think she's really strong. When I had a crush on her as a child, it was because she was a strong woman personified. In later years, I realized she was just as strong IRL. Now it's more about her activism and charity work, especially justice for Alexis and transgender rights.
@Polarsprite I'll check it out. Thanks, Christy! :)
@Polarsprite Me too. hehe. I'm kidding, but I could probably say the same about Patricia Arquette. I've liked her since A Nightmare on Elm Street 3.
@Polarsprite Is it about that Dr. Duntsch character?
Hmm. Short display name field. I'm Daniel.
It's pronounced "Dace-Vhite-za" if you're wondering.
