More than 5-years has passed since losing one of my best and dearest friends. It's supposed to get easier, but it's not. I always cry when I think of him. While he may be at rest, I still don't forgive the universe for taking him at just 54-years old. The only solace is that he is in my heart every day. ❤️ Henry.

I'm so sorry. Five years is a long time to be in grief, but some people leave holes that large in our hearts. A warm hug to you.
@danieldeaseweitzelwalker Loss is incredibly hard. Time helps. I hope you are soon able to find peace in your memories of your friend. <3
@danieldeaseweitzelwalker I know the feeling and it can change one’s outlook for the rest of your life. Because a part of us died along with them. All we can do is keep breathing, keep surviving and keep hoping that one day we will feel alive and happy again. Hugs.

May his memory be a blessing and kept alive in your heart.
Your job now is to live a great life for both of you.
