@danieldeaseweitzelwalker If you use a service like cloudflare, there's a chance you can let them handle the domain registration, since they will also have to deal with SSL/TLS certificates.

@danieldeaseweitzelwalker I did use hetzner once and have no negative memories, but that was in 2007/2008, and only for a single domain name for my personal use.
@EntropySloth I was looking at it, but they don't trust me to purchase a domain without my passport. They can shove it. 😊
@danieldeaseweitzelwalker AFAIK, they handle the .de TLD, but I don't think you'd deal with them directly most of the time. Usually you'd let your hosting company or ISP do that, since you might want to register other domains, too.
