Regarding banking regulation, Project 2025 recommends "merg[ing] the FDIC, the OCC, the NCUA, and the Federal Reserve's non-monetary supervisory and regulatory functions" in a footnote, the document says that "deposit insurance undermines ['the incentives of bank depositors ... to monitor bank portfolios']"

Here's the thing about Project 2025: it's mostly not serious or coherent. This is a bunch of wet dreams from reactionaries who haven't thought things through.
Remember: the Refumblicans already HAD a majority of the House, and they couldn't pass a DEFENSE bill.
