Halfway between living in my car and the warehouse and living on a friend’s couch and my car. I have a 20 year old car with expired tags, a laser and 100 fridge magnets to my name. Between that and the fact that my kiddo is trans, it’s hard to see any light at the end of the tunnel. May the world be kinder to y’all than it has been to us.

@ayrkain oregon is affordable outside of portland and carries solid state programs. I don't disregard the challenges of living in the middle of the country. WA and CA are spendy to live in but WA has an AG for governor now. Hoping they get investors out of the rental market.

@damselfly59 We’re actually down in Central California. It’s not bad for affordability but it’s definitely Trump Country so jobs and friends you can trust are hard to come by.
