I just remembered a summer afternoon with friends
Floating down a river in old inner tubes, towing coolers filled with drinks and sandwiches
Swirling in the currents and laughing as the cares of the world evaporated like the droplets on our skin
Wouldn’t you love to have an afternoon like that?

We did this often on numerous rivers in the mountains. I never wanted them to end.

@Minholkin Some do yes. And quite the adventure. Others just the calm of the current taking us downstream.
I was daydreaming about the calm current but those high water mountain rivers I’ve been on are thrilling ✨
@Minholkin I was recently talking with my girls about us doing a whitewater rafting trip next year in the mountains. A weekend away. Think we will make it happen.
