It's also time for government to step in and properly deal with food poverty as prices rise and income drops, instead of leaving it to charities to take up the slack.
It's pretty tricky to grow your own if you live, as most poor folk do in the UK, in an apartment with no space to grow anything other than some herbs on your windowsill!
@stueytheround And if you do have outside spaces, the landlords don't allow compost bins
