fuck. Just heard a close friend and mentor died this morning. He was an amazing horror writer, had been there for us through some really rough times the last few years, alice was especially close as he was a mentor to her with writing. He'd just finally got back into the classroom (teaching at Auckland University) and had signed a big deal the last few months including a netflix deal for one of his newly published works.
