Well, that certainly complicates things. Um, I'm not sure of all the federal regulation bullshit on the pills(besides that, it makes my life a goddamn nightmare at times), but can your doctor potentially send it to a different branch of your preferred pharmacy out wherever you're going?
(unless you are like me, whose "Health insurance" refuses to work with some major pharmacy chains)
@misslovelymess @misslovelymess
I now start trying to call a full week before I'm out.
I call a couple of pharmacies a month now to see who has my pill & dosage or my pill & a dosage that can be modified to meet my prescribed daily dosage. I then go and relay this to my doctor who hopefully by the time he fills out the prescription and it gets to the pharmacy they still have the pills and will fill it for me.
@misslovelymess
Saw this on the firehose, so not sure of your background, but I'm a fellow neurodivergent that's on generic Adderall
I've been without for 4 days before. As someone who hates phone calls.
Start calling earlier, Call different pharmacies in the area, and then have your doctor transfer the prescription. <continued>
It's not just RAFT that leaps to mind: GuildWars2, Minecraft, Borderlands, WoW, and most phone games.
All seem to possess poorly mixed or ill-thought-out default sound levels.
For raft right now, the master is at 6 percent, and the PC volume is maxed.
And the music slider at 100% is at the perfect sound level, as long as you don't mind hearing any SFX, UI, Ambience, or Notebook sounds!
, everyone was cool with it, and now every game developer just roles with it?
I just fired up RAFT for the first time cause why not, it was on my wishlist, and I got it for a gift this past holiday season.
So naturally, everything is loud, and I turn down the master. Now I can barely hear any game sounds. Still, the music is now at a level that compliments the gaming experience instead of me having to think about rushing to mute it.
<continues...>
1/2 Is it just me, or does no video game the first time you fire it up (or your settings go bye-bye)
Have no decent existing mixing of volume levels between game music and game audio?
While the developers were busy developing and playtesting, did none of them think to bring up game sound balancing??!? Do we not survey playtesters for that? Did one CEO once say this game needs music, and they dropped in an album from the world's best band at the time, so naturally <continues...>
@SaltyVeruca I can deal with some swings but 20 to 40-degree swings are a bit much.
80-degree swings (windchill hit -40) then it was 40 out 3 days later is just a whole other level.
@SaltyVeruca alright you got me beat there, no snow unfortunately, but we did have a frost warning issued on the 9th
@Dogofalltrees all the damn time. Or my personal favorite "Oh that's not ADHD" <- said when discussing actual ADHD symptoms.
