Maine passed some laws last night

As a Maine gun owner I approve this message .

I so agree with this statement.
“For the sake of the communities, individuals and families now suffering immeasurable pain, for the sake of our state, doing nothing is not an option "
Perhaps if we had passed bills earlier our horrific mass slaying could have been averted. For the 18 families, friends & folks in general we will never know because laws were blocked for years .

Now If only Rep Lemelin wasn't elected by the people in the area I live in :(
Oh man , I'm so sorry. He's something else. 🙄 my dem rep was an antivaxxer. I was like wtf are you doing. He termed out thank goodness. Now he's on Kennedys team.
So yeah with the gun laws, mental health laws. I'm all in for any possible help for prevention.
@KazzyH Yeah, he's a winner... luckily his latest act of stupidity might be his last. A lot of people in the surrounding area are not happy, both with his "oh so lovely" statement + the fact that he has zero interest in listening to us nor responding to our queries in a timely fashion.
I know my name will be on a press release from, I think, the Kennebec Democrats committee.
