I'm so frosted at Maines SENATE Republicans for shooting down the emergency heating bill that Mills put together after it sailed thru the Maine state house including those who crossed the aisle.
Six Maine senators couldn't be bothered to vote and 3 stopped it.
This bill also had emergency funding for the homeless that are being housed in hotels including families.
Way to own the libs while freezing your constituents many of whom are retired on tight budgets.
@KazzyH one lib voted against it as well -_-
Also the senates website isn't up to date on who the hell our senators are.
Pretty funny when they like the idea of getting money directly back into our pockets with the idiot from Florida that shows up in Maine on election years, but they can't be bothered to deliver when the other side AGREES with them
@KazzyH at least it passed now
Whew. We are ok ( for now ) but I do worry for others.
@KazzyH I'm not excited about the Energy generation price increase where I work from home. I'm already at $210 for the month and I'm averaging 9.56 a day (35 kwh/day for those that wish to compare)
Electric is insane.... period.
@crazyuncleharris
I think I saw one that didn't vote from Portland chip somebody or other.
Just hope they can get to it soon. Good gravy its cold up here. I worry about those who try to heat using alternative sources and causing fires.
Wonder what they need to hear from the public? 🙄 or what process is usually done with emergency bills?
