Oh and the best part... If they had listened originally to what I said we wouldn't have had a stressful and hectic week
I always enjoyed sending out those emails saying, "OKAY, I'MA GO AHEAD AND DO THIS β BECAUSE YOU INSISTED β BUT LEMME GO ON RECORD HERE AS SAYING THAT IT'S A VERY, VERY BAD IDEA."
@mcfate mine was more along the lines of "okay But the old job never cared about X & then in physical meetin X was brought up about how it wasn't used in the old job & how X wasn't bein properly handled in production in regards to Y (which the old job handled)
In other news X is still now partly involved but there is a sanity check against Y

The bigger problem was they were coming up with this dumb logic that when we got our big boss involved said it sounds like "were puttin a bandaid on somethin that needs stitches"
So we set up a meeting about that and then finally as we were heading down to the meeting they finally finally finally figured out that that was the dumbest thing ever and said nvm were not doing that at all
