Many years ago, a friend of a friend was in an acid rock band that had a gig in Alex's Lower East Side studio covered in murals, and we ate some magic blotter paper, and had a proper chemically induced spiritual experience.

It wasn't until I studied anatomy and meridian lines for massage therapy, that I realized his work is incredibly accurate, and I used some his paintings for esthetically pleasing reference charts.

@Pungent I dig his album covers (Tool) and pretty sure I've seen him at least a few times on magazine covers (Wired? or maybe further back in the continuum... Omni?)
