The average ratio of prisoners to guards in US prisons is 3.09 prisoners for every 1 corrections officer, but can range much higher than that in certain states (as high as 5.87 prisoners for every 1 officer in Oklahoma) and certain prisons (over 15 prisoners for each officer in FCP Bryan)

And of course, if we're talking about something called a "prison camp" that is likely a whole different scenario than a standard (current) US prison.

As an example, I would be surprised if the Japanese detention camps (1942-1945) had a prisoner-to-officer ratio anywhere near as low as described above.

@codeWhisperer I can see Joe Arpaio's Tent Camps as a model for the deportation camps. Minimal protection from the elements and rotten sandwiches to eat. No AC or heat, cots at best, cardboard mats probably, no walls, only a sunshade. Concertina wire fencing.
