When TFG/TNG and mElon roll out their cash incentive plan for turning in those who dare to disagree (your family, friends and neighbors) please be sure to get the best deal possible.

If eLon took 1/3¹ of his current net worth² to fund such a program, he could pay a bounty of $548 per person turned-in for up to 150,000,000 people³.

So don't settle for only $250 when you turn me in⁴.

------------
¹ $82,333,333,333 (USD)
² $248,000,000,000 (USD)
³ $82.3b / 1.5m = $548.89 per citizen

⁴ Plus, he'd make up WELL more than he paid by owning or investing in the prisons used to house half the country.

(sorry, point #3 should have said $82.3b / 150m =$548.89 per citizen)

Crikey.

It was merely a thought experiment about the dangers of unstable, power-hungry wack-a-doos who also happen to be kajillionaires.

Although I do think that the potential is high for a "see something say something" type of citizen program in our near future.

@codeWhisperer Funny thing -- that "voter drive" he did just before the election really whiffed to me of exactly that sort of program -- not the specifics of the activity but the mechanisms (at least the ones that were publicly noted). A light reworking... would that be so surprising?
