I've just finished book two, "Lost in a Good Book," of Jasper Fforde's Thursday Next series. It's a blend of wit, literary references, and alternative history.
Fforde's unique world-building and sharp humor kept me hooked.
A must-read for anyone who loves a clever, quirky story that plays with the boundaries between fiction and reality. Packed with literary references.
Highly recommended!📚

@ceruleanbagel Can book 2 be read as a standalone story? Or do I need to start with book 1?

@codeWhisperer
You really need to start with book one as there are frequent references to the events of book one in the second book.
Book one is "The Eyre Affair"
