🎧 Grandaddy, "The Sophtware Slump". It's June of 2000. My gf and I are in the midst of planning our wedding and we need a break. We took a late night drive to Greenwich Village and ended up at Tower Recs. She said "we need something fresh, something we don't know anything about...this looks cool." From the lo-fi opening of "He's Simple..." we were hooked. How ironic that we didn't get to see them live until we moved back to Indy a few years later.
