Received email today from a reasonably well-known company/website. The title of the email article was "When life gives you a TikTok ban, make a Lemon8 account". So they seem to be promoting Lemon8 as an alternative to TikTok, since the fate of TikTok is "hanging in the balance."

The odd thing is that Lemon8 is owned by the very same parent company as TikTok, and which is based in China.

I guess I now have to try and understand their motives.
