Code's eclectic music pick of the day is:
There is something in my brain that attracts me to songs with unusual time signatures, difficult time changes, ticking clocks and polyrhythms (especially polyrhythms). I'm pretty sure it has something to do with how I self-score on RAADS, but that is a topic for another day's discussion. In the meantime, here's another example that tickles my lobes. From Clément Belio, here is Chromatic Curtain:
@bbbourq Thank you for the intro to Marco, I will be listening to his stuff today. It's funny how I only realized recently how so many of my favorite pieces and bands tie together, even though I have really studied music most of my life. In case you missed some of my earlier music picks, here are two that I feel highlight some amazing talent, especially when you try to figure out the time sigs:

Enjoy!
Thank you. Both tracks are fun to listen to.
@bbbourq You're welcome. And I've been checking out Minnemann. I really enjoyed the track "Falling from Grace". Am still going through discography. I had NO IDEA he had a couple of albums with Levin and Rudess. Holy cow...
Yeah, Minnemann is phenomenal. I discovered him a long time ago when I was researching drummers for inspiration and techniques. I'm pretty sure I found him while looking at Mike Portnoy's work.
@bbbourq Cool! I got to hear Portnoy live recently here in Dallas with Neal Morse band. Was a great show!
Keep the music flowing. I'll be paying more attention to your recommendations. I'll probably start posting some of my own more often.
@bbbourq I look forward to it! 🙂
@codeWhisperer
As a drummer I have always been fascinated by odd time signatures, even though I have a difficult time performing them myself. One of my favorite drummers that can do this with ease is Marco Minnemann.
I was invited by a guitarist many moons ago to join a math metal band, but those time signatures were way over my head, but I do enjoy listening to it.
