I've always been a fan of a living wage for workers. We can debate what that means. But, I think the biggest problem without it is the shift of cost from private to social. As an example, when a company doesn't pay a living wage the employees seek public assistance therefore pushing the companies cost for the labor they benefit from. Stock holders are rewarded and we are covering their costs. Give a living wage and reduce social costs.
