@cmskiera That's great! Is it second-world fantasy (other realm completely, with fantasy species & the like)? Or fused with ours (urban, alt-historical, steampunk, etc.)?
Going to get a couple of SF stories in queues this week, then back to an AI detective novel I've been dragging my heels on editing. Good to have multiple projects to switch between, to get *something* done when your brain wants to skitter away from the main task! 😆
Relatively traditional earth-like setting, @MLClark. Hopefully with some surprises thrown in (and tropes left out).
Gosh, @MLClark, I don't know if I have a single one. Too many lumped together though make it feel stale. I like when authors play with tropes and put their own twists and spins on them.
