The study involved only stuffed animal toys / fluffies, not real overly fed stuffed ones.

Having had multiple cats and dogs I know that the "snuggle" option comes from them a LOT! 😄

@cjtownsend You're so lucky to have options! I usually wake up to 2 cats and a 75 lb dog literally pinning me down. LOL Sometimes, both dogs are on the bed but one doesn't lay on top of me... :) Love them all, but sometimes, it's a fight for position on my unconscious body most the night.
