We have two more driveway trees that have to come down, both are in a dangerous state from the wind storm. One is cracked 25 feet up and the other ripped up part of the driveway and will probably fall.

Two trees at the back of the property came down in the wind. One of them snapped below ground and took the other with it. It fell on the old chicken coop. RIP. Not an emergency and I thought we were OK until I was on the driveway and saw a spot where the pavement had buckled. Tree service will come tomorrow to take a look. . .

Basically, it's been raining all day. Fastidious dog Jane lasted less than a minute on our walk. She was having none of it. None. Charlotte would have happily made her hole-digging rounds. But she came inside with Jane.
