Today I was on the deck when the elderly cat walked past Sam, the cat who is apparently moving in with us, without stopping to hiss. Then my cat came along and she and Sam hissed at each other and 10 seconds later Sam was lying down attempting to get her to play. Some kind of feline detente going on here!

@see_the_sus It would be nice if they decided to get along. Sam showed up here a couple of months ago and well, she seems to think she lives here. Cats. Gotta love em!

@cjewel One day, over 20 yrs ago, I came home and there was this fluffy black cat on the porch looking at me as if it was saying, “Hey, I’m home. Where have you been?” 😂 I tried to find its human, put up flyers, knocked on doors but nothing. And so it was named Whirly & lived a good life.
