I watched an older John Oliver episode on Dollar Stores. Then saw the article headline in The Guardian about how Rump’s mass deportation plan would be devastating to our economy. I have to wonder how good an economy is that depends on slave labor.

@TheresaVermont It was! It’s also made me consider avoiding them if possible. That’s hard since we have two stores in this town, them and a family owned supermarket. I like the supermarket but they don’t carry a lot, what they do carry is usually expensive, which I understand, they can’t buy in bulk, and their meat is ok but you have to check it out carefully and use it immediately or it spoils. Their deli is awesome though.
