Some of the bullshit that goes on in too many of our churches is inexcusable. Evangelcal, predominately white, churches are rife with inane conspiracy theories, libelous gossip, sexual predators and no understanding of the Gospels whatsoever.

@Lulz4l1f3 And yet they just can’t figure out why church attendance is down. All that stuff was there when I was an evangelical fundamentalist Christian and yet I couldn’t see it. When I started seeing it I ignored it. What makes humans able to do that? I think in my case, I left my family to join up with the church. I turned my back on them for 5 years. Funny that I didn’t start to pull away from the church until my relationship with my family improved. I think that might be it.
