@JeSsA After last night at work, I’d gladly take that snow over this cold. We had four people doing tows, jump starts and pulling people out of wherever they go stuck, pretty much the entire weekend. It was nonstop from Saturday through last night. It’s been hell. One woman started crying when I told her we couldn’t get to her last night, that she’d have to wait until this morning. She needed to get to work. The tow driver relented and went after work to jump start her car.
@JeSsA Oh man, snow AND cold sucks the most. My condolences. Which reminds me, I need to go out and start the car to let it run for 20 minutes before it starts refusing to start. I have to work tomorrow at 4:30am and I don’t feel like walking to work in this cold. It’s supposed to get to -11 tonight.
@JeSsA Sure glad there’s no climate change going on! 😉
@JeSsA The worse part of this is poor Ernie can’t go outside when it gets really, really cold. He’s good about using the pads but he prefers going outside. It’s a bit less cold so he’s allowed outside to pee only. Even then I worry about him freezing his little paws. He’s so good though, little man held it for almost 12 hours until he was allowed outside. Had to let him try before he burst poor thing but he did not want to pee inside the house.
@cjcrew I hear that! We were in the higher negatives in MA and while mine were content to go out, I was tearing with them doing it, because the exposure risk. A balancing act, for sure! We are going to be single digits next couple days, which means this snow stays
@JeSsA We were having such a nice winter until this crap showed up. We’re supposed to be having a mild winter thanks to El Niño, but then it got us from the north.
@cjcrew please stay warm and safe! This system us really impacting a lot of us, in many ways!
