What's worrying one of America's largest chain stores? Not the lack of seasonal merch to sell, not the online memes about so many yellow sale tags you can't see the merch, not the overworked, understaffed departments that have begun calling out such in protest.
What worries them, is that no one is pacing at the front of the store to ask "hello, can I help you?" in a heartfelt way and the staff is not getting enough customer surveys. 🤯
That's what they're watching cameras & giving feedback on.

@misterfive I installed duplicator and ran the backup. Didn't give an option on where to save. I was going to copy to USB stick but didn't offer that. Just saved (to their cloud?)

My hosting is up for renewal and I really can't justify the cost. Was going to try to transfer to a free host but I'm running out of time.
My question is, if I just let the host expire will my pages still be saved in WordPress?
Can I then sign up for a new host?
(I plan on renewing my domain registration)

@process yeah, think I screwed the pooch and now getting a message that site is not transferable for 60 days because I updated some info.

@process I haven't updated the sure in years but I think I hold onto it for the same reason I hold onto the shirt that doesn't fit. Fictional motivation.
Free might be good as a stop gap maneuver.

If I renew the .com but not the hosting, what happens? Does WP offer hosting? WSID?
