Audiophiles, would you rehab an 80's era linear tracking turntable & have to buy an amp & speakers? Buy something new that's ready to go out of the box? Are any of the Crosley, Victrola, Audio-Technica etc systems worthwhile?
Debating what I want to spend, what my wife thinks we should spend and what I used to have.

my old system was Marantz receiver and equalizer, JVC turntable, Akai tape deck, Sony CD player and JBL speakers.
Not sure what happened to all these old components other than speakers deteriorated and the tape deck stopped working.
