The guys escaping from Bespin with his ice cream maker is the greatest hero in the Star Wars universe. Don't even try arguing with me. The Force is with him.

This past weekend I saw 'Megalopolis' and found it to be fine, but muddled and clinical, and this from someone who loves a good 'weird' movie. It's hard to recommend to anyone who isn't a cinephile.

I also saw 'The Wild Robot' and empathized more with the robot than any character in 'Megalopolis'. One of the best movies I've seen this year. I almost didn't go because the preview seemed weak, but this is a rare instance where the preview fails to do the movie any justice.

I had a little talk with God this morning and she told me she loves International Blasphemy Day. She's got a better sense of humor than she's given credit for.

I've lived in the 'burbs for soooo many years now and I've only just gotten around to driving the additional 25 minutes north to visit Storm King Art Center. It's so nice I may go back on a sunny day, but then there might (shudder) be people there.
