Sucks when one's computer software and/or hardware decides to flake out in middle of something fun.
- Is it oS issue?
- An App issue?
- Or a cable issue?
Maybe all three for all I know. At least it's a rare cable I recently discovered I didn't have the spares I thought I did. ✅
Anyone have a spare Firewire cable that is FW400 on one end and FW800 on the other?
@iLovAussieSheps I think I do but I'm hours and hours from being able to check... Do you need it? If I have it I'll send it.

- Note: If you DO have a spare FW 800 to FW400 cable I could really make use of it.

@chakaal Thank you. btw - Scanning is going great. Right now scanning roll my Dad shot on an Alaskan Glacier cruise w/ Mom in the 90s. Gonna light up their day when I send them the pics. ✅
@iLovAussieSheps Cannot find the dang thing, it may have been Freecycled. If it turns up I'll ping.
@chakaal I won;y know if failed until tomorrow if/when I can figure out how to test this one with gear I have on hand. It connects my Nikon 35mm Film Scanner which only has FW400. The nikon is only FW item I've used in maybe a decade.
