am I happy with the Dems? Are they the best thing since sliced bread? Absolutely not.

but during my almost five decades on this planet the Republican party has yet to offer me anything.

Dems lose an election and they look around to figure out how they can do better.

Republicans immediately point the finger at everyone else and how rigged the system is (when they rigged it) rather than wondering how to get voters to like them.

that in itself tells me everything I need to know.
