I remember when my high-school school board voted against allowing senior skip day my senior year. They said they would expell any student who participated. Everyone in my senior class called in sick that day.

I was thinking about this this morning, because we were kids. We absolutely believed the adults in authority over us, that we were throwing away our future and we could definitely go to jail if we called out.. No one talked to anyone else either.. We just all called out.
Nothing ever happened from it either. Not even a single detention.
