Facebook (haven't nuked my profile yet, still dealing with kitty) tells me that it's some atheism coming-out day. Sure, I'll play.
I identify as a Secular Humanist.
I do not believe there are deities.
I do not believe there is an afterlife.
I do believe that humans are inherently incapable of knowing whether a deity exists.
I do not judge others for believing in something I do not, especially if it brings them peace & harms none.
Peace, love, empathy, understanding = everything.

Because none of us knows, until it’s time.
That strikes me, just after I lose someone.
“You know! And you can’t tell me!”
Did you hear about the day Steve Jobs died?
He’d been mostly sleeping, not really responsive.
Family was sitting around his bed.
He sat up straight, looked out into the distance, saying “Wow, oh, wow!”
Of course, he was too far gone to explain.
Makes me wonder what he saw.
I’ve heard many near death stories.
They’re pretty amazing
@evistre @Kitty62862 For me I believe...The evidence in my heart tells me that it is so though unseen,
@evistre don’t know if you have looked up any of the research done by some physician scientists on near death experiences, it’s pretty fascinating. It’s becoming more accepted and of course everyone seems to want to understand the big ‘what’ or cause of it. @Kitty62862 @carmahaz
@Thumprhare @carmahaz @evistre
I am convinced that if you are really close, could go either way, something happens.
@carmahaz @Kitty62862
I'm glad you have that! Faith can be great for many folks. <3 :)
