Bentley has been sick all day. Not eating. Shaking. Laying off by himself in the bathroom. Panting. Groaning. Refusing food. He's resting under a pile of blankets now. I'm concerned it is either pancreas or kidney. Please send him good thoughts. Something is very off with the little Maltesaurus and there is nothing I can do until morning.
@DachshundSaidSo Could he found some chocolates? Our Woodrow was deathly ill last week. Then we found two candy bar wrappers hidden in his bed under his blanket. One of our Christmas guests 😢😡Hope Bentley gets better soon. We were lucky it was milk chocolate.

Avoid that Blue Buffalo food, I've heard it doesn't have enough fat and grains for healthy kidneys in floofs, they needs some fat and grain. The chicken and rice is a goodie, keep the fat from the chicken in the mix. Poor baby....get well soon ❤️ 🤗 🐶
@Usama_Backhair @carmahaz Grain free diets are causing heart failure in dogs. The ones that are legume based. His new diet will be lamb and rice based.
@carmahaz He won't eat chocolate. He's really good that way (and super picky, that helps). He ate some boiled chicken and white rice a few hours ago and so far so good. He seems to be recovering but still weak and dehydrated. Getting him fluids shortly.
