@TimRR Texas and Florida are all on their governors and those who support their "everything's bright and beautiful and COVID's not going to ruin it for us" policies.

@homebird Yes, and after watching the season of The Crown depicting the time Philip took him to the same boarding school he'd attended, it's no wonder King Charles to this day refers to his mother as "mummy."
Unfortunately, that's all I have time to say. We're in the middle of moving me from my apartment to Mom's house, so I'm in the middle of changing my address with all the important places to make sure everything transfers smoothly. I love you all! I hope everyone is staying safe in all the crazy weather patterns, resultant natural disasters, and--you know--we always have those "leaders" who think that's not enough trouble in the world.... 😠 I pray for the world every morning now.

@th3j35t3r Oh, please, what is the link for that video? I've got to share it with my sister and her husband!
@sfleetucker Point.
I liked Dante's idea of what to do with politicians. They had their own special circle of Hades, where they were dipped repeatedly head first in fecal matter for eternity. #Political
Do you ever return to CoSo after a long time away, look at your friends' feed, and wonder, "Why the heck did I follow that person?" Always read several of a person's posts before following them; or, if they haven't posted anything yet, wait for them to do so before returning a follow. We all have at least one thing in common with each other, but if you follow someone because they post one thing you liked, you might end up down a rabbit hole of their posts of toxicity. #CoSoFam
@DJNoneYa Well, at least "Lavern" got it right in calling him an "ex-president." So many people insist on still calling him "President (he who shall not be named)," when he has been impeached and therefore has lost the rights to that title. #Political
@researchbuzz When our neighbor brought Mom and me a nice light salad made with Ramen noodles, it was perfect. We weren't up to eating anything heavy yet. It was just so appreciated--especially because Mom was so emotionally exhausted.
Keep being nice to people, you're doing all kinds of good.

Even though they often enhance happiness, acts of kindness such as giving a friend a ride or bringing food for a sick family member can be somewhat rare because people underestimate how good these actions make recipients feel, according to new research from The University of Texas at Austin.

@tyghebright Oh, happy days! You have brightened a somewhat tense day. Thank you so much!

@Janet That's pretty much why my sister applied for another position for work she actually wanted to be doing instead of working as a low-paid registrar at a rural hospital where she was constantly taking verbal abuse from antivaxxers and never-maskers and never got a raise even though she was expected to train new people.
