The vote didn’t happen because most board members felt they needed to get more feedback from the community to make a more informed decision. YAY!

The good news: A member of the library board quit, declaring publicly that the president (proposer of the amendment) was lying as he spoke against the other members who said their job, reading from its description, was to provide the community a variety of content without personal bias. “Content should serve all members of the community.”
