#Michigan Supreme Court is better than #SPOTUS on #LGBTQ and #GenderDiscrimination
(I have had a huge issue with St. Vincent's Catholic Charities Adoption Services making this big show of how desperate they are to find homes for the children in their care, when everyone knows they refuse adoption to same-sex couples.)

I pray this morning's ruling by SCOMI extends to the senseless blocking by St. Vincent Catholic Charities (and others like them) of ideal loving homes with same-sex couples. How many children grow up in households with "straight" parents and end up with a ring-side seat to physical and/or psychological abuse? Or, worse yet, how many "parents" have exploited children once they had them?

If social workers perform an investigation into a same-sex marriage household, they find all couples go through the same basic day-to-day needs, wants, joys, sorrows, etc. It doesn't matter what race, religion, or sexual orientation the couple is.
