Heya, @phase
Please do us a favor and do a CW for the gifs you post that have rapid animation in them. Those can trigger seizures or other neurological episodes in photosensitive conditions. Thanks!

@Minholkin @phase I didn't see anything about slowing--just hiding them altogether. I can look at animations of, say, animals running or someone talking; but I can't do the strobing-effect ones. Thanks for trying to help!

In your profile, under Preferences/Media display, make sure auto play animated gifs is unchecked.

Yes it’s here. I think you have to opt in to auto play as a feature to accommodate those with this specific challenge. You can still see the first frame of the gif, but it won’t play. Since 99% of her art/gifs involves rolling patterns, you might just avoid them altogether.
@misslovelymess @heyrhiannon @Minholkin @phase Weird. I already have it set to reduce motion in animated gifs. Hers must be reeeeally fast.
@caaddison88
Hi caaddison88–I think you can also explore the preferences to slow animations and even stop auto play—these might help you navigate for all of the gifs posted.
