If anyone knows what to do if Windows 10 upgrade tells you it can't proceed because Avira's on your machine and isn't compatible when there's no trace of Avira on the machine, please let me know a.s.a.p.! I sought help from Major Geeks, and we got a lot of malware off the machine, but that didn't solve the problem. Thanks!

@caaddison88 Which malware remover did you use? Malwarebytes is usually my goto for nasty infections.

Also, look up a program on Major Geeks called "HiBit Uninstaller". It does deep scans of your system when performing an uninstall so it gets every last trace of a program off your system.

@AngryCanadianGamer Malwarebytes, ADWCleaner, RogueKiller, HitMan Pro, and MGTools (includes tweaked Combofix and many system checks).
