My brother is coming to help get the rest of Dad’s stuff out of his room at the memory care home, so I probably won’t be on until late if at all. It’s going to be another emotionally exhausting day, methinks.
@Helical_Code Hug back atcha!
@caaddison88 I have been there. My mom had Alzheimer's for 17 years. She passed away in 2016.
@Qapla Oh, you dear, sweet soul. That must have been exhausting. I hope there were some intimate moments like hand holding and shared humor or smiles to help you.
@caaddison88 Sending a gigantic hug. Did that for my MIL two years ago and it was a draining, emotional experience. Be kind to yourself.
@nannyogg63 I’ve been doing a lot of sleeping, and it has both Mom and me concerned. This is my first month of the next stage of life (apparently), and I understand that can cause hyper-somnolence, but I need to go to the doctor to find out what can be done because I’m not functional. Hug back atcha!
@caaddison88 I hope it’s something easy to fix. Could just be your body collapsing and forcing you to rest. Trauma affects us all differently.
@caaddison88
Hug!
