Letting Mom sleep in because I awakened her when I did my “morning march.” That room and Mom’s bedroom are separated only by an open split doorway against one side of which the foot of her bed is pressed, her dresser the other side. Not very restful for her, you’d think, but sometimes she keeps on sawing those logs without ever waking as long as you don’t set foot in the bedroom. For obvious reasons, I’ve felt the need to go in and touch her shoulder. She goes right back asleep, thank God.
