She & I had lost touch with each other but came into contact again 2x. 1st time, I mentioned my boyfriend’s friend thought I might be a lesbian. She closed AIM, which was how we’d been communicating, & any further attempts to talk failed. Next time, I found her on FB. We reminisced on messenger about the old days, I mentioned overnights where we’d get in arguments lasting for days over which Duke brother was cuter, then call &!say we missed each other. “I don’t remember that.” Unfriended.WTF 2/2
@grannyclear I think so. When her aunt passed away, her dad came to the funeral but she didn’t. I asked after her, and he said she was on sabbatical. To me, that screamed, “conversion camp” based on everything else that had happened. (She was on her 2nd het marriage, the first one being fairly short.)
@caaddison88 Perhaps your friend is a bit uncomfy with any non-hetero bits of her own sexuality? I had a close friend in teens & our friendship tipped toward romance sometimes. She moved to California and came out as a lesbian after a short marriage to a guy. I got married and have been ever since so did not further explore my possibly bi side.
