I've seen a couple of folks question the integrity of this site based on an old twitter post from it's creator, @th3j35t3r. For those curious, as I was, he posted this yesterday. All you gotta do is ask. And, at the end of the day, who among us has not had an unfavorable or unpopular opinion?
@MPCavalier @th3j35t3r I only voted *GASP* Rep <- Trump’s 2016 campaign. (Always leaned liberal but was brought up by very persuasive conservatives.) There was no way I was going to vote for someone who sounded & acted nigh to Hitler whenever he was in public, though. No frickin’ way. Actually ashamed I voted against Obama bc I really wanted to vote for him. Guess I owe Trump a bit of gratitude for kicking me in the brain & showing me even Reps I know locally follow him loyally 😳
@caaddison88 @th3j35t3r After 9/11, I defended GWB because I thought it was the right thing to do. What was the point of excoriating a president when the country was in such a state of mourning? My friends maintained he was the anti-christ but I just didn't see it that way. I was still very much in the "i didn't vote for him but he is the POTUS" frame of mind. Like I said, in hindsight, we've all been to a dark place.
